In a surprising display of honesty about their true agenda, union bosses and Far Left activists participated on a panel at the Netroots Nation conference called "The Secret Plan to Destroy the American Right."
What's their "secret plan" to expand the power and size of government and raise taxes on hard-working Americans? It's passage of the woefully misnamed Employee Free Choice Act, more accurately called the Card Check Forced Unionism Bill.
Union bosses apparently see the billions of forced dues dollars that the bill would funnel into pushing Organized Labor's radical political agenda as THE major selling point for the bill.
Unfortunately for the panelists and the Big Labor hierarchy, but fortunately for the American people, there's nothing secret about the Card Check Forced Unionism Bill and how it would obliterate the rights of American workers. Right here on Freedom@Work, we've kept concerned citizens informed about this union boss power grab:
- Expert legal analysis explaining how the Card Check Bill would destroy the secret ballot in union certification elections
- Workers in Albion, Indiana tell Fox News about the real life intimidation they felt during a card check organizing drive by the militant United Auto Workers (UAW) union
- A former union president testifies before Congress about the dangers of card check organizing
- Worker explains to Senate labor committee how union goons lied to him to get him to sign a card
- National Right to Work president Mark Mix discusses card check and union intimidation on a nationally syndicated radio program
- At the 2009 Conservative Political Action Conference, Mix demonstrates why union bosses love card check
- Far Left icon George McGovern writes in the Wall Street Journal about another disturbing feature of the Card Check Forced Unionism Bill: mandatory binding arbitration

Auto Czar
I've stopped buying American made cars just because of this union political situation. I won't help the union, they are a selfish group of people who don't care who they destroy to get what they want and who they step on. I was a product of their distruction. I got all benefits taken from me, but they ended up with 53% of the company. My hard work and sweat took care of them. I won't support them at all. American cars will be a thing of the past in ten years.
American Car Unions
Not to mention, they would rather crappy cars go out than make sure that people are really protected. I just dumped my Chevy after thousands of dollars in repairs have been done over the past 2 years. And it needs another engine rebuilding job due to a faulty designed intake manifold. It was only 6 years old. I am disappointed because American cars were good at one time. My family had a Ford for 17 years with the same engine and transmission. Now I can't even keep an American car running for 17 months without major repairs!
I agree with anonymous CA.
I agree with anonymous CA. The Unions are an evil breed that sets their agenda toward government control and forcing as may as possible to join unions. They must be resisted at all costs. I feel sorry for anyone who joins a union. They will call for a strike and have no regard for anyone hurt by the strike. If you join a union and a strike, sickout, or whatever they call for, you will be required to stay off work and endure the loss of wages and benefits during the strike and be required to walk picket lines to get a small pay while the union bosses get rich at your expense. How dumb is that. I admit that work conditions and lack of benefits made the unions necessary in the past but they have outlived their usefulness. Unions are means of gathering wealth at your expense and control of our government by making you vote the way they direct so they can control the puppets they help elect into our government offices thereby giving them leverage to have their candidate nominated and/or elected. If you want to give up your freedoms and give them to union officials and thugs go ahead, I'll stand on my own two feet and support our proven political system without union influence. Thank you!
