Mr Mix

I jusr watched Mr. Mix spew his anti union reteric on C Span this morning and was appalled by it. I did try to phone in but was unable to get through. I am a drywall finisher by trade and have been a union member for nearly 30 years. I am out here competing with illeagals from Mexico, hondurous, El Salvatore, ect... for my market share of this type of work in my area. I have performed on both union and non union constuction projects, during my career , and I assure you, Mr. Mix, that the difference is day and night!! Who in the hell do you think established the wage standards in this country?? certainly not you and your soft handed friends! We did sir! While I'm on the subject of soft hands, have you ever worked constuction or in a factory? By the looks of you, I'm gonna say no, probably not. I'm not saying that unions are perfect, but please offer me an alternitive means of a: keeping illeagals out of our industry b: keeping our wage standard at it's current level(i know that it drives you nuts that we live in the suburbs)c: jobs with a decent wage that offer health care in my industry? you can't answer beause there is none sir! I would be all too glad to debate this subject with you anytime or at any forum that you desire Mr. Mix. My concact info is as follows: Mark E. McKee 517 Revere Terrace, Warminster Pa. 18974 cell # is 267 688 2910 hm # is 215 672 3375 I look forward to hearing from you soon. Mark McKee Graduate of Moon Valley H.S class of 1983!

Unions had a glorious time

Unions had a glorious time when America was the leading mfrg. center on earth. We no longer are. Congress and Bill Clinton passed the North American Free Trade Agreement, NAFTA, which has allowed competition for products and their costs internationally. It has allowed growth of emerging nations at the expense of jobs and costs here in the USA.

We no longer are the center of the universe mfrg. wise and the privae sector has faced many challenges to employment and wages. Unions have not as much or to date. Unions have caused bankruptcies of corporatins including the US steel industry with excessive pay and work standards driving Bethelehm Steel to bankruptcy. My daugher went to a college right next to the Behlehem steel plant which is under decay. an Auspicious sight.

Unions are counterproductive and caused a departure of companies from NYC in the 1950's for areas that allow cheaper labor. Just a fact. Unions caused a financial calamity in NYC for this reason.

Since we now live in a world of global competition we can no longer support expensive unionization and the negative cost effectiveness they cause. Otherwise companies will leave the USA and we will not have any jobs.

Puppet

Yup you hit the nail on the head. This puppet has no idea about hard work, the only hard work he's seen is with his jaws under someones desk.
I know he's a puppet cause you can see corporate america with their arm up his ass.
Just saying.
