Unions

The L.A Times pressmen were well treated and very well paid prior to the union. I don't know what they thought the union would do for them. Surely they didn't expect more money. Surely they didn't think there would be shorter hours. Surely they didn't expect job security. Surely they didn't expect a comfortable retirement. The only thing I see that the union fixed was the seniority fiasco. I wonder how many that voted for it are complaining about it? You just can't please some people.
