This guy is a real winner. Trying to say Obama violated the constitution because he made some changes while the SENATORS were off playing golf. I quess they should take their job more serious? Where do all these union people get off acting like wages are being cut to 10% of what they are currently making or that they are being asked to work 15 consecutive 12 hour days without receiving overtime pay. They blame the corporations for not wanting to have to deal with them but then use their numbers to push for things that are out of sync with whats happening to the business that they work for. News flash unions... if you work for a publicly traded company that made $100 mill. less this year than it did last year and you push for a large raise and increase in benefits while the the politicians in DC increase the taxes on them;they begin to look for other options! In my experience unions tend to hold their ground to the point that their employers can no longer afford them and rather than being reasonable they force their employers to close shop and move overseas because NO MATTER HOW LARGE THE COMPANY IF THERE IS NO MORE PROFIT THERE WILL BE NO MORE JOBS! In todays market it is critical for all levels of employees to be flexible to the ever changing needs of the market. I ask you union workers... is it better to have your 5% increase this year and be out of work by the holidays or to work with your employer so they can make a profit and keep your job for years to come?

I know you like to blame employee wages for the job loss, but if you did any research you would realize this has no value. Employee wages is not even in the top ten reasons on where to locate your business.

I actually talk to workers
My job is to go out and talk to workers about job conditions and wages. From only being in this position for one year I have interviewed dozens of individuals working for minimum wage. I have even talked to a couple who were working for 4.25 an hour. When I was in High School 15 yrs ago, I worked for Golden Corral, and they too had dishwashers working for $2 an hour. I have a friend who works at General Mills. They have been put on 7-12 hour days because they do not want to hire any more employees. What person can have a functional life having to work 7-12's?

I would say that from one perspective if the companies had the ability to hire part time nonunion employees the odds of hiring new people would increase greatly. Most companies would prefer to stay out of that situation as there is ample education out there that it is a poor long term solution. If they were able to decrease labor costs 10% they could hire 10% more workers and gain efficencies for the same amount of money without laying anyone off and taking a large part of their local population off of unemployment releasing major stresses on local government. I would also ask... What kind of life would your friend have if his union didn't bend to the increasing pressures of the current financial market and General Mills had to make the financial decision to relocate to Mexico and increase profits 30%

I was commenting on there are plenty of people working for low wages and low working conditions. And your theory of workers taken less to hire more workers just doesn't happen. They are expected to do more for less, which is exactly what GM is doing. The money they save in labor goes to buying yachts, exotic cars, and lush vacations. Making their workers work longer shifts, so they do not have to hire anyone else. I would also ask do you think a part-time worker off the streets can be as productive as an employee who has been doing it for 20 yrs. New, low paid employees' are not productive and actually raise labor cost due to inexperience, poor safety, and high turnover rate. If my friend was in a union ran by the employees', he wouldn't have to work 7-12's. He would be working a normal work week 40-50 hrs. 5 days a week. General Mills would see a loss in sales if they move their production, plus an added cost to transport the raw materials needed to make their products.

You are trying to get technical, but missed it by a mile. Yes, it helps for the Pres. and VP to have been born in the USA. It is obvious that this requirement is meant to increase the likelihood of their being loyal to America. However, this does not prove that either would be loyal. On the other hand, it is also certainly possible that a foreign born person may be more loyal to America than a native born person. Therefore, the loyalty thing could go either way. The native born clause would work better if the requirement had been that the Pres. and VP to have had many ancestors that had been in the USA for several generations. Obama is unique in this situation. First, he has lied over and over about his eligibility and many other things, such as his college grades. Obama paid his lawyers more than TWO MILLION DOLLARS to not show his birth certificate and to cover-up other lies.
